We can arrange a community bulky-junk pickup with an HOA or community manager. The accepted item list, removal permissions, staging area and visit plan must be settled before residents begin placing items out.

Set the collection scope first
Identify whether the work concerns common-area or individually released property. We remove what the person who hired us authorizes, and residents’ possessions need their own release. Furniture, mattresses and appliances are the usual loads; batteries and chemicals stay out. This is not routine sanitation or recycling collection.
Access, notices and completion
Agree on the authorized contact, resident instructions, quantity limits for the actual job and the time window. Confirm gate access, truck parking and the handling of unapproved additions. Send any vendor requirements when you book. If your building or property manager requires a certificate of insurance, tell us when you book and we’ll arrange it.
What affects hoa community junk pickup cost?
A community junk day is priced on the volume collected and the time on site. A single staging area and a per-household item limit keep the price predictable. See how pricing works.
Running a community junk day
A junk day works best with a clear notice to residents a week or two ahead: the date, the staging spot, what can go and what can’t, and a per-household limit if the board wants one. One staging area near a truck-friendly road keeps the day predictable; curbside pickup at each home takes longer and costs more.
Paint, pool chemicals, pesticides and propane tanks can’t go in the truck. Residents can take those to Lee County’s free household chemical drop-off at Topaz Court, so it’s worth putting that address in the notice. Mattresses, furniture, appliances and yard equipment are the usual loads.
After the day
Have a board member or the manager on site to settle questions about late additions. The crew clears and sweeps the staging area before leaving. If the community wants a junk day every quarter or twice a year, see recurring bulky-junk pickups.

- In unincorporated Lee County and Bonita Springs, Ordinance 07-25 requires businesses and multifamily properties to recycle the material that makes up most of their waste by weight, such as cardboard and other fiber, containers, metals or wood. Businesses on 70 gallons or less of garbage service are exempt, and each covered location keeps a Recycling Plan Form on site. Source: Lee County Solid Waste: mandatory recycling ordinance
- Lee County says businesses are responsible for arranging their own debris cleanup after a hurricane or disaster; county crews focus on roads and waterways. Source: Lee County Solid Waste: business hurricane and disaster debris
