Clutter removal starts with your decisions about what stays and what leaves. We can help with light sorting, bagging loose junk and carrying out the selected items, with that labor included in the agreed scope.

Directed sorting, not a keep-or-toss decision
You or your representative identifies the keeps. We work from your keep list, and every disposal decision is yours. Point out documents, photographs, jewelry and family possessions before work. Items that appear personal or important are set aside for the decision-maker rather than casually added to the load.
Plan the rooms and the contents
Show every affected area, even if the final pile will be gathered later. Describe furniture, bags, appliances and restricted materials separately. Donation candidates can be set aside when practical, but acceptance and any delivery must be agreed; this is not a free charity pickup or an appraisal service.
What changes the price
Clutter jobs are priced on how much leaves and how long the sorting takes. A room where everything goes moves faster than one where we sort item by item at your direction. Stairs, elevators and the distance to the truck add time; routine disassembly is included. Tell us how many rooms, roughly how full they are and how much sorting help you want, and send a photo of each room from the doorway. See how pricing works.
How a clutter job runs
Clutter jobs go best one room at a time. Before we arrive, decide what stays and set those things aside or tag them; anything you’re unsure about can go in a single “decide later” corner. On the day, the crew carries out everything else, keeps bagged donations separate from trash, and sweeps the room before moving to the next one.
Goodwill Southwest Florida takes clean clothing, housewares, small appliances and décor in sellable condition, so a few boxes set aside for donation can make a real dent. Paper with personal information is yours to shred before we start.
