We clear furniture, shelving, packaging, pallets and equipment for transportation and logistics businesses. Freight ownership and material identification must be resolved before an item enters the load.

Freight and regulated material
Freight that hasn’t been released (including bonded or customs freight), hazardous material, bulk lithium batteries, spoiled food, regulated products and certified destruction need their owner’s release or a specialist route; tell us what’s on site and we’ll tell you how each gets handled. Ask first about quantities of tires, refrigerant equipment, forklifts, installed docks, conveyors or racking. Pooled and rental pallets are returned rather than discarded.
Released contents and dock access
Provide written authority, the actual item list, dock windows and the loading method. Heavy palletized loads are priced one by one. Do not treat a customer's freight, a sealed container or an installed system as ordinary warehouse junk because it occupies an unwanted space.
Paperwork for released material
Logistics clear-outs move faster when the paperwork is done first: a written release for anything that was ever someone else’s freight, the vendor requirements (gate pass, dock check-in), and a contact on the floor. If your building or property manager requires a certificate of insurance, tell us when you book and we’ll arrange it. Commercial work after hours can be arranged so the crew isn’t in the way of daytime dock traffic.
What affects transportation and logistics junk removal cost?
Pallets, packaging and shelving fill truck space; palletized material and metal are heavy. Dock access, and whether your qualified operator loads pallets or we break them down by hand, affect crew time. See how pricing works.
Pallets, stretch wrap and the pallets that aren’t yours
Most logistics clear-outs are mostly pallets, packaging and worn-out shelving. Broken wood pallets, loose dunnage, stretch wrap and crushed cartons load quickly; stacks of good pallets are bulky but light. Count them roughly and tell us how they’re stacked.
Blue pallets are a different matter. CHEP says its blue wood pallets are always its property, wherever they turn up, and that they shouldn’t be bought, sold, traded or thrown away. Set them aside and call CHEP’s pickup line (800-243-7872, option 5) instead of adding them to the load. Other pooled or rental pallets usually have similar return programs, so check the markings before anything leaves.
If your site is on the county’s mandatory business recycling program, cardboard is often the material it already recycles. Keep clean cardboard out of the junk load if your recycling hauler takes it.
Working around the dock schedule
Tell us your inbound and outbound windows and which dock door or yard area we can use. Staging the material near one door and keeping a lane clear for your trucks keeps the job short and out of your crew’s way. If your own certified operator can bring pallets of junk to the dock with a forklift, the loading goes much faster; otherwise we break loads down and carry them by hand.

- In unincorporated Lee County and Bonita Springs, Ordinance 07-25 requires businesses and multifamily properties to recycle the material that makes up most of their waste by weight, such as cardboard and other fiber, containers, metals or wood. Businesses on 70 gallons or less of garbage service are exempt, and each covered location keeps a Recycling Plan Form on site. Source: Lee County Solid Waste: mandatory recycling ordinance
- The everyday Topaz Court drop-off is for residents. For businesses, Lee County contracts MXI Environmental Services to run a monthly chemical-disposal day for very small quantity generators (under 220 pounds of hazardous waste a month), generally the fourth Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 6441 Topaz Court.
